OUR PHILOSOPHY

The home of the Restaurant Mühle is the mill at Schluchsee, built in 1603. A place that with much love and sensitivity became an oasis of relaxation and where work has always been done in the highest quality. Above all, we attach great importance to the applied craftsmanship, the careful selection of products and their quality. We see it as our mission to take you on an exciting culinary journey, where the experience and enjoyment are the absolute focus.

We use the best products that nature gives us and put them in the limelight in such a way that their own taste is not adulterated. In addition to the main product, the sauces are in the foreground in our kitchen. NICLAS NUSSBAUMER AND LEA RUPP

After working in some of the best restaurants in the country, Niclas, who was born in Karlsruhe, finds his way back to the Black Forest. At lake Schluchsee he will bring you closer to the Black Forest cuisine, combined with flavors from Japan and the world through applied crafts of the French cuisine. Our Chef de Service Lea, who grew up in the Saarland region, does not only create a warm and friendly atmosphere in the restaurant, but is also available at any time to help with recommendations or to give information on any of the 180 wines on the list.

Restaurant visit

Thursday to Monday from 18.30. Please note that the latest reservation time is 19.00 h

Casual chic is our motto. Your visit to the restaurant should be relaxed. A tie for the gentlemen is therefore not necessary, but long pants and closed shoes would be desirable.

No. Due to the fact that many of our guests have allergies to animal hair, dogs are not allowed inside the restaurant.

We welcome children from the age of 14 years in our house. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.

You can cancel your table free of charge up to 48 hours before the reservation time. If you cancel at short notice, we will try to reallocate your seats. However, if we do not succeed in doing so, a cancellation fee of 120 euros per person will be charged.

Separate cancellation conditions apply for a number of persons of 5 or more.

Our style of cuisine is characterized by product-oriented classic French craftsmanship complemented with modern influences.

We use the best products that nature gives us and put them as protagonists in such a way that their own taste is not distorted. We attach great importance to products and producers both from the region and from around the world.

Here, individual products are more often found in a menu to present them from different facets.

We offer a unified menu, not à la carte. Gladly can add upgrades to the menu.

If you have allergies or food intolerances, we ask you to inform us in advance, as we can no longer address them on the evening itself.

Our dishes consist of many individual ingredients and are prepared elaborately for you. Please understand that it is not possible for us to cater for all allergies or food intolerances.
