The CRAFTSMANSHIP of the local people and their awareness of SUSTAINABILITY make the Schluchsee mill unique. Our philosophy focuses on the highest quality and deliberate reduction, because we are convinced that we must be more mindful in our daily actions. This beautiful historic country house, located at the southern foot of the Black Forest, was built in 1603 as a Black Forest farmstead, which served as a grain mill and supplier for St. Blasien Abbey until the 18th century. The stream that once powered the mill wheel flows past the terrace as it has done since time immemorial until it flows into the Schluchsee lake. Surrounded by forest and nature, both the building and the gardens are the perfect place to enjoy life to the full, relax, and unwind. Welcome to our small boutique hotel in the Black Forest.
