The CRAFT of the local people with the awareness of SUSTAINABILITY make the Mühle Schluchsee unique. Our philosophy focuses on the highest quality and intentionally reduces, because we believe that you have to be more thoughtful about your daily actions. It is about respectful, creative handling of tradition and the conscious experience of special moments.
The beautiful historic country house, at the southern foot of the Black Forest, was built in 1603 as a Black Forest farm, which was a flour mill and supplier for the monastery of St. Blasien until the 18th century. The brook, which used to drive the mill wheel, still flows along the terrace,as it has already for ages, until it flows into the Schluchsee lake. Surrounded by forest and nature, life can be enjoyed to the fullest and hidden corners can be found in the building as well as in the garden. Welcome to our small boutique hotel in the Black Forest.
